The website for a digital agency working across web development, branding and design. The brief was the hardest kind for an agency site: the site itself has to be the argument for hiring them, so the typography and restraint are the product.
Teknesis is a digital agency working across web development, branding and design, and their site has the hardest brief an agency site can have: it is simultaneously the portfolio and the proof. Anyone judging whether to hire them looks at the thing they are reading.
So the work was typography, spacing and restraint rather than features. React, deployed to Vercel, with no CMS behind it, because an agency edits its own site a few times a year and a CMS would have been a permanent maintenance cost in exchange for that.
Inside Teknesis

The hardest brief an agency site can have
Teknesis works across web development, branding and design, so their site is simultaneously the argument and the evidence. Anyone deciding whether to hire them is judging the thing they are reading while they decide. That ruled out features and ruled in typography, spacing and restraint. It ships as a static React build with no CMS behind it, because an agency edits its own site a few times a year and a CMS would have been a permanent maintenance cost in exchange for that.

Confidence, expressed as space
Past work introduced in a line of plain prose and then set out one at a time, numbered, each name at display size. No thumbnail grid and no case-study template. For a studio with a handful of pieces genuinely worth showing, a list that takes its time reads as selection, where a dense grid reads as padding. It is also the cheapest thing to keep current, which for a site nobody is paid to maintain is the difference between accurate and abandoned.
