A showcase platform for a bespoke wood furniture and interior design studio in Lagos: custom wardrobes, kitchens, TV units and restoration, handcrafted in Lekki. Built solo across the whole stack in a month, with Firebase holding the content and Cloudflare serving it.
Esplendor is a wood interior studio in Lagos: custom wardrobes, kitchens, TV units and restoration work, handcrafted in Lekki. The site is a showcase, so the whole job is making the craft look like craft.
Built solo across the full stack in a month. Firebase holds the content so the studio can post their own work without going through me, React renders it, and Cloudflare serves it. One month with no team meant owning no infrastructure was not a preference but a requirement.
Inside Esplendor
Proof first, then get out of the way
Esplendor is a wood interior studio in Lekki making wardrobes, kitchens and TV units by hand. For a considered purchase from a studio most buyers have not heard of, the first job is establishing that they are real: pieces crafted, years in business, satisfaction, awards. The second is showing the work at a size where the timber reads. Everything below that band is photography with generous gutters and quiet type, because on this product the images are the argument and the layout's job is to not compete with them.
Filtered the way people actually shop
The full catalogue, filtered by living room, kitchen and storage, each carrying its own count. That is the right axis for this business: nobody shops for furniture by material or by year, they shop for the room they are standing in. Firebase holds the content, so the studio publishes a finished project themselves without going through me. For a one-month solo build, that was the decision that separated a site which stays current from one frozen on launch day.
Where the objection gets answered
Custom furniture, interior design, wood finishing and restoration, each with a photograph and the specifics set out as a list: free design consultation, premium timber, full custom dimensions, in-home installation, lifetime structural warranty. On a purchase this size the warranty line does more selling than any adjective above it, so it is a scannable list rather than a paragraph. React on the front, Cloudflare serving it, and no server to run, which is what let one person build and ship the whole thing in a month.
